About Us

Ronnie and Chris Tinkle have been married 31 years and have a son, Matthew Tinkle. They also have two granddaughters, Matison and Renee Tinkle. 

Ronnie Tinkle is a licensed embalmer and funeral director with over 30 years of experience. He knows every aspect of the business and pays close attention to every detail as to perfect and satisfy the families served. He grew up in this area and graduated in 1975 so he knows the customs and information to achieve for any type of service.

Chris Tinkle is his wife and partner in the business and is a very caring person that helps out around the business when she is not working at her job. She is assistant manager at Shopko, which is the local department store in the area. She is involved in the youth group as a leader and teaches Sunday school at the Methodist Church. She is active in the Relay For Life and serves on other boards as well.

Connie Ward is the secretary and receptionist and has worked at Payne Funeral Chapel for over 25 years. She is very devoted to her work and will be happy to assist you when called upon.
