Patricia Reed passed away Wednesday evening, April 9, 2014, at her home in Cedar Creek, Texas, a suburb of Austin, Texas.
The daughter of Ray W. and Emma Balfour Hamlin, she was born January 20, 1954, in Kirksville, Missouri. Her early years she went to school in Edina, Missouri, and later moved to Mendon, Illinois where she attended High School. She also attended Quincy Beauty Academy in Quincy, Illinois.
She was married to Clyde Shannon. Mark Curran, and later to George Reed.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father Ray Hamlin, her husband George Reed, along several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by her mother, Emma Smith, of Memphis; four children, Joeseph J. Curran of Quincy, Illinois, Kimberly (Bobby) Fink of Donnellson, Iowa, Garrett (Jane) Curran of China, and Nicky (Arash) Farahvar of Champaign, Illinois; two sisters, Sandra Remley of Arbela, Billie (Jimmy) Nytes, of Carpio, North Dakota. Also surviving are five grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.Visitation
